Prepress

Proofing & file fixes.

Hillside Printing has a fully-equipped in-house prepress department. We use a state-of-the-art pdf workflow to preflight, impose and proof supplied files. We are very proud to use the latest computer to plate technology for a very environmentally sound platemaking process. We are very experienced with all popular desktop and professional graphics software packages on both Mac and PC platforms.

Our Oris colour proofing is calibrated to our offset press so the colour matching is very accurate. With digital printing proofs, of course, what you see is what you get. Digital proofs are usually supplied on the actual paper stock.

We are able to make fixes to files so that they will print properly and correct minor typos, etc. We do not have an in-house design service but we can recommend or sub-contract highly qualified graphic designers dependent upon your need.

We are very experienced with all popular desktop and professional graphics software packages on both Mac and PC platforms. We have the expertise, hardware and software to handle almost any file.
